How to Enrol

We warmly welcome new families to Balingup Primary School. The enrolment process is straightforward:

  1. Contact the school to arrange a tour and meeting with the Principal.
  2. Complete the enrolment form (available from the school office or as a download below).
  3. Provide required documents (see below).
  4. Submit your application to the school office.
Eligibility

Eligibility & Intake Information

Balingup Primary School caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Children are eligible for Kindergarten if they turn 4 by 30 June in the year of enrolment, and for Pre-Primary if they turn 5 by 30 June.

Children in Western Australia are eligible for Kindergarten if they turn 4 by 30 June, and for Pre-Primary (compulsory) if they turn 5 by 30 June in the year of enrolment.

Required Documents

Please bring the following when enrolling your child:

  • Completed enrolment form
  • Child’s birth certificate or passport
  • Immunisation records (Australian Immunisation Register statement)
  • Court orders (if applicable)
  • Previous school reports (if transferring)
  • Proof of address (e.g. utility bill or rental agreement)
